Hatha Yoga with Jane - Awareness of Body, Mind & Breath
May 24 Block of Four Classes - Wednesday Evening Class Whorlton Village Hall, near Barnard Castle Dates: 1st, 8th, 15th & 29th May (no class 22nd May) A mindful asana practice with an emphasis on working with the breath, blended with balances, breathing practices and relaxation. Time: 6.30pm - 8pm Cost : £28.00 (14 spaces - must be pre-booked)
My style of Teaching:- 1. All yoga courses accommodate a range of abilities from beginners to more experienced students. 1. Demonstrating asanas – to instruct beginners correctly on position and method and also to remind students with experience of essential points which ensures safe practice. 2. Demonstration in the flow – this helps beginners and also accommodates different learning habits. 3. Verbal instructions – when appropriate I will teach postures with verbal cues only to encourage students to recall postures and also to develop their confidence. 4. Visualisation – to help students achieve a posture and also to become closer to the movement of the breath. 5. I love breathwork...so in each of our classes you will discover at least one breath practice.
